DOODLETOWN HIKE No 3

The bridle path that was once a main route to the riverfront. We continue (south) to the right.
Some of the ornate trees and shrubs in the once-landscaped gardens still thrive.

We continued south. The old road here was never paved, and starts to climb ever steeper into the hill.
We passed the last of the old hamlet ruins.
The old farm road becomes quite rough, and gradually gets steeper.
One big surprise was the sight of fairly recent tire tracks.
4-Wheelers?
I thought motorized vehicles were banned in this area?
