Bernie stayed in the army after most of us left in the 1960s, eventually retiring as a WO1 from the Royal Army Pay Corps. After retiring he worked as a civilian at the Wetter base workshops where the larger vehicles and tanks were rebuilt. |
Bernie & his wife Sigi now live on the German - Dutch border and spend winters in Spain. |
