I joined R.E.M.E. in 1958 and left in 1964.
These pages are a reminder of how I helped to spend the British taxpayer's hard-earned money, and with any luck will attract the attention of some old pals from those days.
Below is a list of the few places in which I served during those six short years, in the course of which I seemed to have gained half a lifetime of experience and a kit-bag full of memories.

My sincere apologies for the inconvenience, but moving this section of the website to a new server has hit several major snags.
A lot of problems have been resolved, but I still need to fix a few configuration issues, mostly to prevent hackers from sabotaging the server.
Many thanks for the continuing e-mails from all you Old Pals out there - your stories will eventually make their way onto the 'Old Soldiers Stories' pages.
Hopefully I'll get the thing running properly soon. Thank you for your patience.
John
