Gina, with our two new adoptees, Sugar and Spice, together with Kerry and Dawn, two of the Animal Control Officers who help supervise our volunteer efforts.

The dogs jumped into the car quite happily, and we were on our way!

It took Sugar less than ten minutes to figure out that this was her new home, and she quickly claimed the blanket leaving the old sheet for son Spice, although he actually seems to prefer a bare floor.

After a couple of days Sugar has settled in much faster than we had hoped, although Spice is still quite unsettled. Neither of them has eaten anything yet, which we assume must be due to the stress of being moved to a new home, but they are obviously extremely well house-trained - much to our relief!

After a long walk to tire them out, both have slept through the night without a whimper.
